OH very good. I have something just like this. I use these marks every day! Love to edit! 🙂
It is for me too that’s what I do for a living when I leave after a long day it’s hard to read anything else. I think proofing and editing is grueling but so worth it when you see the finished product in print. I feel!
I’m also an art director and I was thinking about what lead me to WP and sometimes it’s good to revisit things and maybe change directions. I came here mostly to think outside the box because my boss said I needed to learn to flow more. Hum…can’t say I’m any better at flowing but I’ve sure learned a lot! 🙂
What do you do if you want to find a quick translation or insert a French word in a story? I speak French but am not sure of my translation. Is there a program out there which I don’t have to buy which will do the work for me? Thanks. I miss your column. I hope all is ok with you.

Editing is funny and hard process for me.

I love writing – I even enjoy rewriting – but editing is a different skill altogether and I don’t enjoy it at all.
