Interesting, but in regards to mortals and men tween is “a youngster between 10 and 12 years of age, considered too old to be a child and too young to be a teenager.” And I could be way wrong, but I am picturing TV shows way before the 80’s using the term “pie-hole” . . . but I could be imagining that!

It popped up on SpongeBob Squarepants one time–Squidward was irritated with SpongeBob and Squidward and yelled, “Shut your half-wit pie-holes!” and I immediately thought of Stephen King, LOL.
